Yes, it is possible. I look at Mike Jones, in mmy eyes he is terrible, but every so often he spits a hot 16 bars. As for the guy who said Lil Wayne is whack, he obviously has not heard him on mix tapes, or heard anything other then what is played on the radio. As for Soulja Boy, he is whack, but he does make hits. I call it bubble gum rap. I am not hatin because he his making money.

Yeah but it prob won’t last 2 long. It’s possible to suck but have a really hot hook that makes ya head bop. Like Soulja Boy…he’s horrible but he made a dance and added catchy lyrics. Most of the rappers out r wack but tha radio stations be pumpin tha garbage in ur head…The more it’s put in ur head the more it becomes natural and pleasurable,.

It depends on your definition of hot. Lil wayne is commercially "hot" all his songs r on the radio, He jumps on other peoples tracks and writes C+ verses to remixes at best, but people are all on his d.ick because he is "hot" right now. Crooked I has been killin mixtapes and his weekly freestyles for a minute and has a huge buzz "underground", and although he is startin to go commercial, he is "hot" in the streets. But if you ask most people who listen to the radio and think waynes "hot", they never heard of Crooked, and if you ask Crooked fans, most will say wayne is whack….so all in all yes, it is possible for a whack rapper to make a hot track.
everything you hear on the radio is whack and they all sellin CDs, so if you define sellin CDs as deciding if a record is hot then yes, many wack rappers are making hot records.
if you’re talking lyrical content and beats i can’t think of a rap record out now that has it. rap died when Master P decided to make a childrens song with no cussin
Ok, so hot for a wack rapper would mean meaningful lyrics and good beats. So far I see no problem in them being able to, but it takes talent to make a hot record with lyrics and flow, you cant just do it. Most of the wack rappers just care about the money, so beat is all that matters.
A wack rapper in most peoples eyes are Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy, I dont think they can have worthy lyrics, the beat only matters to them and he basically chucks in his lyrics. So no, I dont think they can.
